Adjusting Internet Options to allow Webcam to function...

These instructions are for the Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser case...

When you first use Internet Explorer to use this webcam you will
first have to change your "Internet Options" settings in IE to enable "ActiveX" scripts.
You may also have to weaken or disable some of your "Firewall" settings.
After you have it working you may then re-tighten some of these security settings.

Below are some instructions on how to enable the ActiveX scripts and install webcam.ocx scripts.

Contact fred@wogwoe.com if you can't get this to work for you.

Step 9. You may have to add my DDNS site mapper: http://fredewahl.dyndns.org to
your "Trusted Sites" list. Repeat Step 1 and step a) of Step 2. However now at Step 2,
Click on the green check mark "Trusted Sites". Click on "Sites" and then type the new trusted site
"http://fredewahl.dyndns.org" into the list and click "add", then click "close" and "OK".

Step 10. Close IE (Internet Explorer) , Reopen IE and go to www.wogwoe.com site
Then return to the FredCam! sub page and restart the Webcam Login process.
As the login begins please examine any pop-up windows. If they "prompt" you to allow the ActiveX
scripting programs "webcam.ocx" from Compex, say yes and continue.

This method is found to work best with IE6 since IE7 has more security measures built in.
Other ActiveX compatible browsers will require similar adjustments.
