   opening act of the San Jose Summer Jazz Festival 2019
       ( the 30th anniversary of this festival  )
      Band:  Sons of Jubal      performed Saturday  August 9th
        venue:  ? Tabbard Theatre
    The show honored  famous arranger/orchestrator:   Sammy Nestico
        many of Sammies pieces are featured in this show
      Sammy did attend  and  spoke early in the show. 
       Sammy just turned 95 recently.

   MP3  provided to Fred Wahl of wogwoe.com 8/28/19 by Dennis Keene.
   It was recorded and mixed by  SOJ/San Jose Summer Jazz Festival technical staff
    and posted to a Google Drive site for sharing.

  Dennis Keene asked Fred to convert this MP3 into a set of CDs for his
  personal use to listen to as he drove his car. That he would not duplicate
    these CDs for sale to others.
  He said do only "Minimal Edits" to create this two CD set.  $20 for my labor.

  Show length of 1 hour and 44 minutes required two CDs be made.
  Fred cleaned up the MP3 by removing some highest volume 'clipping'.
  MP3 file was upconverted to full MS adpcm 44.1kz 16bit .wav for further editing.
  Fred used 3D stereo process (Q Sound) to put surround sound into the mix.
  Hard Limiting was then applied to bring the overall mix volume back up.
  A few seconds of 'silence' was inserted at about 58 minutes where the
   sound needed to be divided into two CDs.
  Minor fade ins/ fade outs were applied to show start, show end and boundary between CDs 
  .Wav data was selected for each CD and then 'copy selected' to separate .wav files
   for use by the CD burning sw.

   No edits were done to fade in/fade out each narrator or song track.
   No gain adjustments were made to bring narrators volumes up to
     volume levels of band songs.
   No dynamic compression/silencing to bring up quieter parts and limit
    overloud instrumentalists was applied.
   Each CD has made  as only One long track each.
