Wahl ; Overview: "WogWoe Productions" is a Hobby Busineses which provides very low cost Event multi-track audio recording, Public Address, and low-volume CD mastering, duplication and sales service. CDs produced sound good on stereo players including those using "Dolby Surround" type enhanced playback. If your group, band or Event could use this service please contact Fred Wahl (408) 262-0471 / fred@wogwoe.com to determine availability, service pricing and scheduling. This service is offered in the San Francisco Bay area and operates out of the South Bay. Currently we can handle only small to medium sized events ( <~200 audience size ). Multi-track is currently limited to up to 8 channels of simultaneous recording at 16bits and 44.1kHz sampling rate (CD-A quality levels). We usually only PA the announcer or master- of-ceremonies and not the band itself. PA of a soloist is possible. At this time no Video recording service is provided. Typical cost is a very low pre-paid $300 to "roll the cart" to your site or event and perform the PA / recording function. CDs are then mixed, mastered and Cover Art is created at my site. I then sell the CDs for $15 each. Expect additional costs if you want copies of your masters. Normally your organization shares copyright with WogWoe Productions on these CDs. Normally a $1 royalty from any CD sold by me goes to your organization. Normally I webpage-list your CD for sale on my WebSite using a PayPal shopping cart. Other recording, music transformation services are also available such as: Band Demo CDs, creation of RingTones, Family Audio histories, Recitals, Noise removal, transformation of songs to *.mp3 format for iPods, etc. Fred E. Wahl ; FEW 3/16/14 ; It's been a long time since I have updated the Wogwoe web page. I have still left it in its old classic internet web-style. ( the Internet has just turned 25 years old recently ! ) Have been using my FaceBook Timeline (Fred E Wahl) a lot to post to friends on my recording events and newer technologies for doing recording. Latest stuff here includes me experimenting with High-Definition Wide-Screen H264 format QuickTime Video recording. Resulting .MOV files are huge, around 4 Gigabytes for 25 minutes of playing time. Download times using an ISP like Hostmonster and Comcast cable are too long for the patience of most customers. Creation and sale to customers of Video DVDs or Blu-Rays will probably be required. Shipping recordings on Memory Sticks could also be done. I have rebuilt my old home audio XP Windows Pro PC into a "high horsepower" Intel i7-4770K Quad core Win7 Pro machine based upon an ASUS Z87-WS motherboard. Was able to get my old license for Adobe Audition 1.5 to run on this machine and keep my digital audio filters/presets from before. This allows me to still create Dolby 5.1 or AC3 surround-equivalent stereo audio mixes. This rebuilt PC also now can run my Video editing software, CyberLink PowerDirector 10 Ultra, advertised as "The World's Fastest Video Editor" with reasonable speed. Still developing my Video editing chops. .. also recently I have made it possible for the public to access recordings from two of my customers: Tony Zepeda and his Garage Band and Bill Rimper's Cupertino High School, Bob Gomez directed, and ripped from 33 1/3 Vinyl recordings. ; FEW 2/20/07 ; Recorded and prepared MP3 files from a friends garage band are now posted on www.wogwoe.com/Zepeda a "hidden" subpage. This shows the use of the Web to publish to the performers their practice session recording results for their review and feedback to the mix process. ; FEW 1/27/07 ; Today we updated our microphone set to begin handling recording of "drum sets" for garage-type bands. ; FEW 9/4/2006 ; Today we have installed a simple version of PayPal CD online purchasing using the PayPal shopping cart. 4 recently produced CDs are being made available using PayPal. You may still use the older/cheaper method of printing out the generic CDorders form and using that to order your CDs. ;--------------------------------------------------------------------- ; FEW 8/20/2006 ; We still have not added on-line shopping cart CD ordering. In the meantime please printout the "CDorders" form of your choice (.doc or .pdf), fill it in, include your check made to Fred Wahl and mail it to me in Milpitas. Please contact me if you have a "recording" or other project appropriate for me. ;---------------------------------------------------------------------- ; FEW 10/25/2001 WogWoe Productions evolved from a privately held "Hobby" business. It originated because of the desire of amateur musicians to record their performances and to review and improve the 'listenability' of the music that they produced. It has succeeded because of the interest of the owner in providing that service and his desire to explore, develop and apply rapidly evolving and affordable modern digital recording technology to the task. As the success of this activity grew it was extended to the recording of live public concerts and the production of audio cassette tapes and Compact Disks. These 'vanity' tapes and CDs were sold to band members to help pay the costs of this evolving recording business. In order to support the desires of the groups recorded and to produce more professional recordings, Public Address and monitoring ability has been added to the service. Perhaps you would like WogWoe Productions to record your band's next performance? 10/25/2001 Through agreement with bands already recorded, you will be able to order your own copies of their CDs here. Each group receives certain compensation from sales of their recordings. The Cupertino Symphonic Band and San Jose Saxophone Christmas are two such bands or organizations which have CDs recorded by and available through WogWoe Productions. These are both charitable organizations so your purchases are also partially tax deductible. As this web site is developed online credit card purchases of CDs should become possible. Until that time we will require pre-payment by personal check. You will print the online order form, fill it in and mail it with check to the address on the form. An order form, product and price list will soon be available on this site. Products are shown on the 'CD artwork examples' page for your review. contact: Fred Wahl, owner WogWoe Productions fred@wogwoe.com 408-262-0471 ;----------------------------------------------------------------------
